I'm a philosopher, teacher, and amateur musician.

Micah, The Philosopher
With the mentorship of Scott Jenkins, I earned my Ph.D. in philosophy, with honors, from the University of Kansas in May of 2015. I specialize in Kant’s theoretical philosophy, but have wide-ranging interests, including Nietzsche’s thought, meta-ethics, and metaphysics. Here is my CV.
Micah, The Teacher
I have eight years of experience teaching philosophy at the college level. I especially enjoy teaching Critical Thinking and Intro to Symbolic Logic.
Micah, The Musician
I am, practically speaking, a self-taught bassist, who, throughout my life, have enjoyed creating novel riffs for my own enjoyment, jamming with friends, and playing in a few bands.
