Micah, The Philosopher
I specialize in Kant's Theoretical Philosophy. Presently, I focus on (1) Kant's distinction between appearances and things in themselves and (2) the apparent internal tensions caused by Kant's claims about things in themselves. Other interests of mine include Nietzsche's socio-psychological theory of the development of autonomy as embodied by his notion of a sovereign individual, the necessary conditions for genuine moral dilemmas, ought implies can, scientific essentialist claims such as 'Water is H20', and more.
